Our goal is to disrupt the Denton creative community by introducing a new culture that pairs sustainability with fashion, art and music. We plan to achieve this by creating inclusive experiences that provide eco-friendly opportunities for locals to connect through creative expression.
Amanda Sweet is the Curator and Founder of The ReVamp.
She manages the team and overall scope and vision of the events.
She's driven to support the community by creating immersive experiences that everyone can enjoy.
Amanda is a Creative Fairy Godmother, Event Planner, Photographer, and Producer in DFW and Metro Detroit.
Mariah, founder of Belle Âme, is The ReVamp's Digital Director. Mariah helps with creative brainstorming and manages the digital aspects for The ReVamp. She's passionate about sustainability, fashion, and her pupper. She hopes to inspire the Denton community to live a more sustainable lifestyle.
Danika is often behind the camera, whether creating content or documenting events for The ReVamp, or running her business, Flesh & Flora Photography. She enjoys helping other creatives use their inventiveness to create one-of-a-kind, but resourceful, works of art. She believes you don't need fancy tech or money to create your vision. Naomi Kliewer (she/her/they/them) is a Denton-based artist, activist, and performer. Naomi is the community outreach coordinator for The ReVamp, and creates educational and inspiring events to bridge communit, in addition to being a brand ambassador. Naomi can be seen performing music and theatre on stages all over Denton, and on burlesque stages as Tulla Moore. Naomi seeks to encourage others to live authentically and compassionately.
Amelia McBride, writer for The ReVamp’s online blog, is currently a journalism student at the University of North Texas. Throughout her academic experiences, Amelia has developed a passion for connecting with unique individuals and re-telling their stories in an exciting way. She loves watching documentaries, cooking, and reading true crime novels.
By trade, Erin is a Twitch streamer and freelance writer. Erin uses her passion for sustainability and fashion as one of The ReVamp’s writers. She enjoys helping people find their freedom through clothes and storytelling. In her free time she is either geeking out about Harley Quinn, working on her next poetry collection, or cosplaying.
Sarah Jo came to Denton from Lake Charles, Louisiana, and has found her true passions through working with the creatives in Denton. She loves connecting with the Denton community through her podcast; Time to Get Real Podcast, who she runs with The ReVamp ambassador Eylin Aguilar. Their own mental health struggles have turned into a way to help others in the community. Her role for The ReVamp has grown from an brand ambassador to our Operations Manager/Chapter Relations Administrator. You can find her hopping around Denton with her pup, Burt the Boston.
Tori Lorraine is a mother of three and the owner of Tori Lorraine Photography. After growing up in Denton Tori has moved all over Texas, but her heart belongs to Little D. Tori is a photographer for The ReVamp, capturing seasonal fashion photo shoots and events. She grew up with her camera in hand, and has always been focused on detail and capturing moments from a different angle. You can usually find her and her camera on the Denton Square, or camped out in a local coffee shop working on edits of her latest projects.
